Arts organizations and the businesses and individuals that serve them were already working with limited resources before this pandemic hit. Since Covid-19, the company I run, Rapt Productions, who serves the greater Bay Area performing arts community has seen almost all of our bookings get cancelled. That means dancers, crews that staff the performances, and many more out of work. It also includes us who document, archive, and create promotional materials that help the artists get more work. We have already lost $10,000 in business and are looking at losing up to $20,00 more if this continues for months. We work every month to survive and serve our community. If you have any ability to contribute, please do what you can. If we are gifted more than we need, I will share it with our community. If we can meet our financial needs to keep our doors open, we will be developing online content to create and share with everyone. Interviews with prominent dancers and choreographers, live streamed classes and workshops, and creative projects in dance film. Please help me to not have to shut our doors permanently and keep this dream alive. Contribute below.
